Dr. Chelsea Poland

Dr. Chelsea Jarvis

Dr. Chelsea grew up in central Wisconsin and has always had a passion for helping people. She graduated valedictorian of her high school class and attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. She considers herself lucky to have been surrounded by chiropractic her whole life. “I had always noticed as a kid that I didn’t get sick very often or really have any major health problems like some of my peers. But it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized the impact that chiropractic has had on my life.” So in her sophomore year of college, she decided to become a chiropractor. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Chelsea attended graduate school at Life University in Marietta, Ga. She graduated with magna cum laude honors in 2015.

Dr. Chelsea realized how many different health issues people have and the true need for chiropractic care; chiropractic helps support people’s health. “People have forgotten what it even means to be healthy. I wanted to go into chiropractic because I am passionate about sharing the chiropractic philosophy and bettering people’s lives.”

Specializing in Pediatrics and Pregnancy

Dr. Chelsea has gone through extensive special training to best care for children and families. She is part of a small percentage of chiropractors in the country who have been granted Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). This renowned certification program includes a 200-hour post graduate curriculum that has provided Dr. Chelsea with techniques and protocols to best care for children and pregnant women. She is also an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), an organization dedicated to providing quality chiropractic care to kids and families. Additionally, Dr. Chelsea has become certified in the Webster Technique for working with expectant mothers. Dr. Chelsea has treated infants as young as a couple of hours old, and working with kids and families is one of her greatest passions.

Living an Active Life

Dr. Chelsea loves to travel. While earning her undergraduate degree, she spent a semester abroad in Spain, during which time she also traveled to several European countries and Africa. She also went on a chiropractic mission trip to El Salvador, where she served various communities in desperate need of health care.

Dr. Chelsea also enjoys hiking, running and camping. When the weather is nice, she tries to spend her free time doing some sort of physical activity outdoors. You can often find her off on some adventure with her husband, son and lovable dog.

Dr. Chelsea loves the chiropractic field and having a positive impact on the health of her community. If you’re ready to increase your quality of life and overall wellness, contact Dr. Chelsea today.
